Nobody believes russians; behind all your "right words" is a blood, a murder, a violence, a rape and a robbery. Ukraine knows this. Georgia knows this. Syria knows this. Chechnya knows this. All world knows this.

You are using Internet to spread your false propaganda around the world. Many years of personal and professional communications between us did lead to nothing - very few people in Russia were finding courage in themselves to protest against what was gonna to happen and now is happening.

What are you talking about? You saying that ENOG is regulated by Russian laws? Oh, really? Are you talking about laws when your country threw all the laws in the trash?

There is no place anymore for any kind of collaboration, until you will show us and the world, that you're not just biological organism, but citizens able to change the course of history.

Alex, colleagues,
The first purpose of my message was highlighting some legal aspects related to terminating ENOG as an entity. Those points are also related to the Moscow meeting.

I have no idea what does the future hold for us. Currently, we can't even guess which states will exist in our region and where their borders will be.

But regardless of borders and the entities that create them, the opportunity to keep the dialogue alive is of paramount importance - especially for the people sharing the fundamental values of the internet.

There are various ongoing hostilities in our region - in Europe, Transcaucasia, Central Asia. And yet, we have been able to keep an understanding and stay outside of the ongoing conflicts as much as possible.

We had held our conferences in Baku and Yerevan, though the citizens of the neighboring countries were unable to participate in those.

In times of conflict, the opportunity to keep direct communication channels intact becomes much more valuable. And I believe that destroying those opportunities is a crime.

Even if operators from some countries will not participate in ENOG, that does not mean that this common platform loses its significanse for the representatives from other states.

That is why I believe it is crucial to preserve the existing groups and mailing lists in order to keep the communication channel available for operators from different countries. The question of holding further can be discussed later, in a constructive way.

в первую очередь я обратил внимание на отдельные юридические аспекты, связанные с прекращением деятельности ENOG, как сообщества. Это же касается и Москвы.

Я не знаю, что будет дальше. Сложно говорить даже о том, какие государства (и в каких территориальных границах) будут существовать в нашем регионе.

Однако, не смотря на любые границы, кто бы их не создавал, возможность коммуникации является одной из основных ценностей. В особенности для тех, кто разделяет идеи интернет.

В нашем регионе есть огромное количество конфликтов. Это касается и Восточной Европы и Закавказья и Средней Азии. Однако, долгое время это не мешало всем нам находить общий язык и по возможности оставаться вне текущих конфликтов.

Мы проводили конференции в Баку и в Ереване не смотря на то, что жители соседних стран не могли принять участие в наших мероприятиях.

Во время любых конфликтов возможность прямого диалога имеет особенную ценность. И разрушать эти возможности, на мой взгляд, является преступлением.

Даже если операторы части стран больше не будут участвовать в ENOG это не означает, что наличие общей площадки потеряет значение для представителей из иных стран.

Поэтому я считаю важным сохранить оставшиеся группы и списки рассылки, чтобы операторы разных стран могли сохранять возможность общения, а к вопросу проведения дальнейших мероприятий нужно вернуться через какое-то время и обсуждать его в конструктивном ключе.

    Dear colleagues,
    unfortunately, the recent events are being used by some people to
    divide
    our community further. Such actions include pleas to "terminate" ENOG
    addressed to external forces residing outside of our region.

    The Eurasian network operators group was founded long time ago in
    Moscow, de facto as a civil society movement, and thus is governed by
    The Federal Law on Public Associations (82-FZ, Article 9). According to
    Article 26 of this law, a civil society movement may be terminated only
    by a decision of the congress (conference) or of a general meeting.

    This means that neither RIPE, nor Executive Board of the RIPE NCC, nor
    the program committee (which is not the highest governing body of the
    ENOG) have the authority to terminate ENOG.

    I hope that we will be able to discuss all issues regarding the format
    of work of the ENOG during our next meeting in Moscow.
