Hello everyone,
I used to be ENOG PC chair in 2014-2018.
I would like to support the ENOG PC intention to cease the ENOG. The across-the-continent russian-speaking community was never exist and it doesn't make any sense to continue any activity under this name. In the current circumstances one should not expect any successful cooperation in operators' activity and discussion between the countries.
I believe that local community leaders in each country should try to change their focus of activity to RIPE community or to organise their local NOG/forum/maillist/chat/etc. If you need any support in organising your NOG - ask me, there are a lot of experience and opportunities to get a support in this.
Looking back at those conferences... Well, at least we tried to make the internet better.
Stay safe.

Hi there,
Nobody here is talking of excluding Russia from RIPE, you get it all wrong.
We are discussing the regional ENOG community which united Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian etc operators on the horizontal level. Russia is still the part of the RIPE community. Operators continue working. Interaction through the RIPE mechanisms remains.
The only thing which disappeared - the friendship. Something you cannot force to exist. Thus, probably it is time to divide ENOG to, say, UANOG and RUNOG or something like.
