All, I am chairing the IEEE 802.3 New Ethernet Applications ad hoc, which has an activity underway that is looking at doing an update to the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Bandwidth Assessment (see http://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/bwa/BWA_Report.pdf) published in 2012. Please note that this effort will focus on gathering information throughout 2019 that will enable an evaluation of the future bandwidth needs of various Ethernet wireline applications.
