<Русская версия ниже> Dear colleagues, This is a call for presentation proposals for the ENOG 4/RIPE NCC Regional Meeting, that will take place at the Grand Hotel Marriott in Moscow, Russia, on 23-24 October 2012. -------------------- Submit a Topic -------------------- Traditionally, key themes for ENOG are peering, interconnection and collaboration between Internet service providers (ISPs). We’ll cover challenges, tools, experiences and best practices in the following areas: * Peering and Internet Exchange Points * Network Operations and Security * IPv6 deployment * Internet development trends * Internet governance and regulatory practices * Content delivery If you’d like to suggest a presentation for the ENOG 4 agenda, then please submit your talk at: http://www.enog.org/meetings/enog-4/submit-a-topic If you are aware of a good presentation and would like to recommend the speaker - please contact the Programme Committee at pc(a)enog.org. Please submit your talk, including the abstract and draft version of the slides before *17 August 2012* for full consideration. Please submit your proposal in English. Presentations can be given in English or Russian as we use simultaneous translation. Please note that marketing and commercial content will not be accepted. The both companies (Juniper, IBM) have Moscow offices, sail and support equipment in Russia. Ask them, may be it will be easier (chiper or sooner) to buy equipment in Moscow. We have used this method for Alcatel equipment. Import restrictions into Russia

Hi, I am currently looking into potential import restrictions for some equipment we need to use in our co-location in Moscow. Namely those are: 1x Juniper M7i router 1x Juniper EX2200 switch 3x IBM x3550 M4 servers Anybody have experience with this, I've heard stories that suggest that imports would be a problem. What is needed to smooth the process to import such equipment? Would it be better to source this equipment locally? Thanks, Wolfgang
