Dear colleagues,
The ENOG Programme Committee (PC) is getting ready to start working on
the programme for the ENOG 4 meeting, which will take place in Moscow,
Russian Federation, on 23-24 October 2012. While the PC has already
attracted a strong team of industry experts with diverse regional and
international experience, we are looking for new members to join us.
What is expected from a PC member?
-------------------------------
- To actively participate in forming the programme of the ENOG meeting.
This implies active participation in the PC activities (teleconferences,
on-site meetings, reviews, etc.) and working towards reaching consensus
on decision points.
- To stay aware of the topics that address the needs and interests of
the ENOG community. This requires good knowledge of relevant regional
and/or international issues and usually assumes attendance of ENOG meetings.
- To actively seek content that is relevant and interesting to the ENOG
community. This includes reaching out to presenters of interesting
talks, people involved in projects, research or other activities that
may be of interest to the community.
- To actively publicize the meeting and its agenda to potential
attendees, using both personal contacts and social networking.
If you meet the above requirements and are willing to commit your
expertise and energy to the work of the ENOG 4 PC, please send an email
and tell us about yourself and your motivation to: <pc(a)enog.org>. Please
do this by the end of the next week, no later than June 29.

Dear Colleagues,
Only two weeks are left till the presentation submission deadline for
RIPE65: https://ripe65.ripe.net/programme/call-for-presentations/
Proposals for talks, BoFs and panels must be submitted for full
consideration no later than 1 July 2012, using the meeting submission
system: https://meetings.ripe.net/pc/login.php. Proposals submitted
after this date will be considered on a space-available basis.
We've seen many interesting talks at ENOG meetings, coming from this
community, so please do not be shy and submit your proposal.
RIPE 65 will take place from 24 – 28 September 2012 at the Okura Hotel
in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Dear Colleagues,
The ENOG 3 Meeting took place from 22-23 May, 2012, in Odessa, Ukraine,
- the first ENOG meeting to be held outside of Russia. With over 250
people, including 180 Ukrainians, attending the two day event, it was a
great success.
Participants joined together to share knowledge in the fields of DNSSEC,
IPv6 Deployment, Internet Exchange Point strategies, ISP security, and
Internet administration and governance, making ENOG one of the region's
most interesting and varied Internet-related events.
Thank You
ENOG 3 couldn't have taken place without commitment of our meeting
hosts, Hostmaster and the RIPE NCC, and our sponsors and partners, ISOC,
Data Group, NetAssist, Ukrainian Internet Association,

Уважаемые коллеги,
С 22 по 23 мая 2012 г. в Одессе прошла Конференция Евро-азиатской группы
сетевых операторов (ENOG) 3, организумая впервые не в России.
Конференция ENOG 3 прошла крайне успешно: более 250 человек, в том числе
180 - с Украины, посетели это двухдневное мероприятие.
Участники конференции обсуждали вопросы о DNSSEC, внедрении IРv6,
стратегии точек обмена интернет-трафиком, вопросы безопасности ISP,
администрирование и управление Интернетом, - превращая ENOG в одно из
самых интересных и разноплановых событий в области Интернета.
Проведение ENOG 3 стало возможным благодаря усилиям и поддержке
организаторов: Hostmaster и RIPE NCC, а также наших партнеров и
спонсоров: ISOC, Data Group, Нетассист, Интернет Ассоциации Украиы,
Беспроводной Украины, D-Link, Astra Telcom и MSK-IX.
Спасибо всем тем, кто предоставил отзывы. Наш приз достается Сергею
