Dear colleagues,
Over the past weeks, we have been paying close attention to developments
around Covid-19 (the novel coronavirus). In light of the rapidly
evolving situation across Europe, we regret to announce that we have
made the decision to postpone the ENOG 17 meeting originally due to take
place from 8-9 June in Moscow, Russia, as well as the training courses
and workshops that were scheduled to precede it.
The RIPE NCC and the ENOG Programme Committee are in agreement that
rescheduling ENOG 17 is the right decision in light of the public safety
risk, growing uncertainty over travel and the risk of quarantines. This
is not an easy decision, but we strongly believe that the health and
safety of our attendees and event partners should be our first priority.
The RIPE NCC would like to thank the ENOG Programme Committee and other
partners and sponsors who have been working towards hosting a successful
meeting. We are confident that these efforts will still be of value.
ENOG is the forum where technology experts from Eastern Europe, Caucasus
and Central Asia gather to discuss core operational issues and share
ideas in evolving the Internet in the region. We invite you to join us
for a successful, productive meeting at a later date. We are working
with all our event partners, and we hope to announce new dates in the
future.

В течение последних недель мы пристально следили за развитием событий
вокруг Covid-19 (нового коронавируса). В свете быстро меняющейся
ситуации в Европе мы с сожалением сообщаем, что приняли решение отложить
форум ENOG 17, который первоначально должен был состояться 8-9 июня в
Москве, Россия, а также учебные курсы и семинары, которые должны были
предшествовать ему.
RIPE NCC и Программный комитет ENOG согласны в том, что перенос сроков
ENOG 17 является правильным решением в свете рисков общественной
безопасности, растущей неопределенности в отношении поездок и угрозы
введения карантина. Это нелегкое решение, но мы твердо верим, что
здоровье и безопасность наших участников и партнеров по мероприятиям
должны быть нашим главным приоритетом.
RIPE NCC хотел бы поблагодарить Программный комитет ENOG, а также других
партнеров и спонсоров, которые работали над успехом мероприятия. Мы
уверены, что эти усилия не пропадут.
ENOG - это форум, на котором собираются технологические эксперты из
